JTB eastbound lanes cleared after crash with person trapped near Southside Boulevard

Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department tweeted that drivers should expect delays as crews worked to free one person trapped in the crash.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Traffic is now moving freely again after a crash Friday afternoon on J. Turner Butler Boulevard heading eastbound blocked several lanes near Southside Boulevard.

The Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department tweeted at 1:26 p.m. that crews were responding to JTB eastbound at Southside Boulevard. The crew that responded advised that one person was trapped in the crash, JFRD said.

Expect delays in the area and take an alternate route if possible.
