Crash leaves 5 hurt, backs up traffic on I-95 north near Airport Road

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — At least five people are hurt and traffic is building up on I-95 north near Airport Road due to a crash, the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department said Tuesday afternoon.

JFRD tweeted that crews were responding to the crash at mile marker 362 around 5 p.m. A van ran into a guardrail, according to the tweet.

The crew on scene says it is a mass casualty incident level I with at least five patients, JFRD said. Drivers are urged to avoid the area.
