DUVAL COUNTY, Fla. — A crash involving multiple fiery cars blocked eastbound lanes of I-10 in western Duval County Thursday morning, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department and the Florida Highway Patrol.
JFRD tweeted about it around 7 a.m., saying crews were responding to the crash west of US-301 involving multiple cars and multiple patients.
"The cars are on fire ... expect delays," the tweet says.
According to the FHP traffic crash website, troopers were dispatched to a crash at 6:19 a.m., then another crash at 6:48 a.m. All eastbound lanes were blocked, FHP says.
How many people were injured and the severity of their injuries aren't known at this time.
