JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A car crashed into a pole in Northwest Jacksonville, knocking down wires and causing Trout River Boulevard to be blocked Tuesday afternoon, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
The Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department tweeted that crews responded to a car vs. a pole in the 6800 block of Trout River Boulevard around 1:37 p.m. One person had to be extricated from the vehicle and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, according to JFRD.
JSO said the road will be closed for several hours due to the downed wires as of 1:47 p.m.
