JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Update Tuesday 7:41 p.m.: Traffic is now moving.
All eastbound lanes on the Mathews Bridge were closed as of 7 p.m. Tuesday.
A traffic alert from FL511 said the closure is due to a crash.
Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Department Captain Eric Prosswimmer said they were not currently working on an accident, but there was a crash earlier. A pickup trailer ran over the median wall, he said.
Drivers were reporting standstill traffic as far back as 6 p.m.
