60-year-old killed after hitting two cars stopped in traffic in Palm Coast

The crash was the second fatal traffic incident in Palm Coast Monday, after a 17-year-old was hit and killed on his bike.

PALM COAST, Fla. — A 60-year-old man was killed after driving into two cars that were stopped in traffic in Palm Coast Monday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The man was driving an SUV, traveling west on Palm Coast Parkway in the center lane. He hit a vehicle in the left lane and the left front of his car side-swiped the back right of the other car. 

The SUV then struck the back left of another car, where it came to a rest.

The two cars that the victim hit stayed stationary throughout the incident.

The 60-year-old was declared dead at the hospital.
