JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 23-year-old Jacksonville man was killed in a crash Tuesday night on I-10 just west of State Road 23, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
It happened around 10 p.m. A black Pontiac sedan was driving west on I-10 when the vehicle exited the road to the left and collided with the guardrail in the center median, the report says.
The vehicle came to a stop in the left travel lane of I-10 westbound, where it was hit by other vehicles, including another sedan driven by a 39-year-old Jacksonville man, according to the report.
The driver of the Pontiac was pronounced dead on the scene, the report says. The 39-year-old driver was not hurt in the crash.
