ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — Three people were hurt in a multi-vehicle crash on State Road 16 Monday afternoon, according to the St. Johns County Fire Rescue.
The crash happened in the 8600 block of State Road 16 near the Shands Bridge, officials said.
One person was taken by helicopter to a local trauma center with serious injuries.
Emergency officials took two other people involved in the crash to the hospital in stable condition.
The crash blocked all lanes of traffic as emergency crews responded to the scene.
