SpaceX Falcon 9 launch caputured by cameras across First Coast

Many First Coast News Weather Watchers Facebook users sent in the best shots they got after the Falcon 9 rocket took flight Sunday night.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — SpaceX launched its Falcon 9 rocket strapped with nearly two dozen Starlink satellites from Cape Canaveral on Sunday night, and several people across the First Coast were able to capture the launch light up the night sky.

The Falcon 9 rocket carried 23 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit after launching from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 8:10 p.m. Sunday.

Many users a part of the First Coast News Weather Watchers Facebook group sent in the best shots they got after the rocket took flight.

SpaceX is eyeing Tuesday at 5:07 p.m. for its next Falcon 9 launch from Cape Canaveral which is set to be the first of three launches for the Cygnus cargo capsule.
