CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — SpaceX's Falcon Heavy rocket lifted off for the first time in three years Tuesday at 9:40 a.m.
Due to fog, it may have been hard to see the rocket launch. But even if you didn't see the rocket, you may be able to hear it. The rocket's first-stage boosters will fall back to Earth not long after liftoff, according to the Patrick Space Force Base and Cape Canaveral Space Station.
The load the rocket is carrying is classified, but we do know there is also a small satellite called Tetra-1.
