JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Sharks will have a new look this season in more ways than one.

The Arena Football League franchise which is in it's sixth year of existence will compete in newly redesigned uniforms this season. The abbreviation "JAX" will appear on the home and away jerseys. There is also a crest on both sleeves of the jerseys.

The Sharks primary logo will remain the same, but the JAX abbreviation and crest are new secondary logos that the team will use beginning this season.

In total, the Sharks will have four different uniform combinations as they can wear their two different jerseys with three different color pants (red, white, and black).

The 2015 regular season for the Sharks begins this Saturday in New Orleans. The first home game will be Friday, April 3rd against the Orlando Predators.

After not making it to the playoffs for the time in franchise history last season, the Sharks have acquired quite a few players that have experienced a lot of success in the AFL.
