MINNEAPOLIS — Florida Gator gymnast Leanne Wong was named to the 2024 Olympic gymnastics team Sunday as a replacement athlete, according to the University of Florida.

This is Wong's second Olympic berth as a replacement athlete, UF says. The senior attended the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.

Wong ended competition Sunday landing her Cheng vault to earn the third-highest vault mark (14.50) of the evening, UF said.

"Day 1 wasn't super strong but I came into Day 2 wanting to leave it all out there and that's what I did today," Wong said. "I'm super proud of my new vault. I never would have imagined myself competing it at the Olympic Trials so I'm super grateful for that."
