JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Trevor Lawrence has officially been listed as questionable for Week 18's matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
Head coach Doug Pederson said playing Lawrence could be a game-time decision.
Pederson noted that Trevor has been locked in mentally all week, but now the last phase in his preparations is all physical, like the timing on his throws.
Plus, coach said he has not limited Lawrence during practice, and if Lawrence does end up playing on Sunday, it'll be all gas, no brakes.
"If he’s good to go, he’s good to go. I don’t want to say cautious, but he’ll just have to know that he’ll try to do anything he can to protect himself. At the same time, if he’s out there, he’s rolling and we’ll go play," said Pederson.
There are only two other Jaguars on the injury report, wide receivers Zay Jones and Christian Kirk, who are also listed as questionable.
Pederson said he expects to see Jones on the field on Sunday, while Kirk's status is a bit more uncertain as they are being cautious with his recovery.
"This game is obviously a game that you’ve got to have. You want everybody available if possible. At the same time, you never want to jeopardize a player’s future or career with further injury. I just want to make sure he’s in a good place. We take them by case-by-case; they’re individual. But in his case, because he’s blocking and running downfield, being hit, there’s more to it than Trevor’s case. But he’s doing nice, he’s progressing well," said Pederson.
Jaguars are in a win-and-you're-in playoff scenario as they travel to Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, Jan. 7 at 1 p.m.
