Here's what we know about the status of Trevor Lawrence for Sunday

Lawrence is day-to-day as the team also opens window for receiver Christian Kirk's return.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Hold on to your drinks, Trevor Lawrence has returned to practice.

After sitting out the Jacksonville Jaguars' 26-0 triumph over the Carolina Panthers that arrested a four-game losing streak, Lawrence returned to limited practice Wednesday.

Ahead of a final regular season matchup against rival Tennessee Titans, Lawrence received limited reps in individual drills, but did not throw during the media portion of practice. C.J. Beathard, who registered 17 completions over 24 attempts for 178 yards, took the first team reps in practice.

Lawrence has dealt with a knee injury, ankle injury and concussion protocol this season prior to injuring his shoulder against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

“Yeah, I’ll be out there today. We’ll just have to kind of see how I’m feeling, I’m going to try to do some stuff and see how it feels. I need to move around though and get back in the flow, I didn’t do a lot of that last week," Lawrence said Wednesday. "I’ll be out there today and just as the week goes on, depending on how it’s feeling, we’ll see how much I end up doing. Hopefully, everyday I do a little bit more and get ready for the game.”

The Jaguars (9-7) also opened receiver Christian Kirk's 21-day practice period. Kirk practiced right away, listed as "limited" practice Wednesday. He was placed on injured reserve Dec. 8. In 12 games, Kirk has  57 receptions for 787 yards and three touchdowns this season.

Win against Tennessee and the Jaguars make the playoffs and take the AFC South crown. The two 9-7 teams chasing the Jaguars — the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans — play each other Sunday.
