JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jaguars' linebacker Travon Walker continues to positively impact the First Coast, this time with a toy drive.
The Travon Walker Foundation partnered with American In-Home Care and Julington Creek Fish Camp to run a toy drive for underprivileged kids.
Just a month ago, Travon also ran a Thanksgiving food drive, and his father says he's proud to see his son making an impact in the community.
"Real proud. It's a blessing," said Stead Walker. "I guess it's like that old saying that other people say. 'I see my child, and I see myself, but then, at the same time, I see more than just myself.' Of course, I see his mother and all the good traits that he picked up from us that we didn't think he was picking up."
The toys will be handed out at the local YMCA on Friday, Dec. 22.
