NASHVILLE, Tenn. — We reached the final week of the regular season, and the Jaguars were in a 'must win' situation.

On Saturday Night Football, the Indianapolis Colts fell short to the Houston Texans. The Texans' win eliminated the Colts from the playoffs.

The Jaguars had everything on the line to lose, the division title and their guaranteed spot in the playoffs, but the Titans shut out all hopes for another week of football and a home playoff game.

The Jaguars' gave quarterback Trevor Lawrence the thumbs up ahead of the Titans game.

Off the top, Brandon McManus is forced to test out the leg early in the game from 44-yards out. After hitting the field goal, the Jaguars take the first lead of the day, 3-0.

In a swift answer back, the Tennessee Titans score in their first drive of possession. Tyjae Spears gets it going for the Titans with a 28-yard touchdown.

At the end of the first, the Titans led the Jaguars, 7-3.

Lawrence tests his shoulder and hits Calvin Ridley for the 59-yard touchdown in response. The Jaguars are back in the lead, 10-7 in the second quarter. This touchdown would spark a fire that the Jaguars needed! Just over 12 minutes left in the first half.

The Jaguars have everything to lose in this game. Titans' Derek Henry completes the 22-yard touchdown and puts the Titans right back on top in the second quarter, 14-10.

When it rained, it poured for the Jaguars.

Evan Engram bobbled a pass, coughed it up and Titans' Terrell Edmunds recovered it. The Titans had a chance to pull away.

From the interception, the Titans send a message to the Jaguars.

Tyjae Spears finds his way home, touchdown Titans. 21-10.

Making it into field goal range, the Jaguars only had time for a field goal. Brandon McManus hits another one for the Jaguars. The Titans are still on top, 21-13.

The Titans start the third quarter with a literal bang. Derick Henry gets the Titans in the red zone from the first play of the drive. DeAndre Hopkins would finish the job and allow the Titans to officially pull away. 28-13, the Jaguars trailing.

At the start of the fourth, the Jaguars throw the first punch. Lawrence connects with Engram at the end zone. The Jaguars shorten the deficit but still trail 28-20.

After the Jaguars' touchdown, safety Andre Cisco gets a huge pick and gets the Jaguars in the red zone.

On third and inches, Lawrence reached out for the touchdown that would put them at the heels of the Titans, but he was down, just short of the goal line, losing a massive opportunity for the Jaguars.

The Titans are still in the lead, 28-20.

The Jaguars had several opportunities to turn this game around in their direction, but instead, their opportunity collapsed.

The Tennessee Titans got their revenge against the Jaguars for the end of the 2022 season.

In the snap of a finger, the Jaguars division title is gone and so is their shot at the playoffs, losing to the Titans 28-20.
