Trevor Lawrence traveling with Jaguars to Tampa Bay

Franchise quarterback who was was limited in practice this week still listed as questionable to play Sunday.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has cleared the NFL’s concussion protocol and is traveling with the team to Tampa Bay.

Lawrence, who is questionable for Sunday’s game, suffered a concussion late in the fourth quarter of the Jaguars week 15 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Per NFL rules, Lawrence could only travel with the team if he cleared the concussion protocol.

We are still waiting to get an official word from the Jaguars on whether or not Lawrence will play Sunday against the Buccaneers.

Lawrence has never missed a start in his NFL career but has dealt with a knee injury and high ankle sprain this season. Backup quarterback C.J. Beathard is waiting in the wings if Lawrence is unavailable.

The Jaguars are tied atop the AFC South Division and will be trying to snap a three-game losing streak Sunday with they face Tampa Bay at 4 p.m.
