JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars are taking on the Cincinnati Bengals in their first Monday Night Football game in 12 years. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence was 12 years old the last time Jacksonville had a Monday night game. Several players on this year's squad have not played in one either.
Jacksonville is 8-7 all-time on Monday Night Football, going 7-4 at home, with their last win coming in October 2011.
Several players on this year's squad have not played in a Monday Night game, including Jacksonville's 2nd all-time sacks leader, Josh Allen.
"When I was in Arizona, and the schedule came out, I saw the Monday night, I screamed. I got to get right," said Allen. "So I already had those emotions, so now it's just how well can I stick to my schedule, recover, and know my matchup and go out there and play."
