JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars' mandatory veteran minicamp kicked off Monday with Josh Allen making an appearance at the Miller Electric Center.
Allen, who had been working out in Arizona this offseason, reported for camp ready to lead the rookies. His goal is to help the young players reach his level.
"The rookies should lean on me for all that I can offer," Allen said. Considering his performance last season and his lucrative new deal this offseason, his advice is worth heeding.
Allen, a team leader, believes he can elevate the defense if the players follow his lead. "I want everybody to be better than me. This is my process, this is how I do it," Allen said. "If this is what you want, or if that's what you want, come on."
Allen will attend the rest of the Jaguars' camp.
