JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Over the last two weeks, the Jaguars have had 14 penalties and four turnovers, leading to back-to-back losses against AFC North opponents.

Head coach Doug Pederson said the self-inflicting wounds are becoming a concern as the Jaguars head down the final stretch of the season.

With the offensive line being banged up as of late, several players have had to rotate in and out, resulting in pre-snap penalties, but offensive lineman Brandon Scherff said the injuries are no excuse.

As for Pederson, he thinks the self-inflicting wounds are happening due to the Jaguars not having clean practices.

"Quite honestly, they show up in practice during the week, and that's where it starts," said Pederson. "I'm a big believer in that you're going to play like you practice. And, when you don't have the crisp practice during the week, sometimes those things are going to creep into a game, and it gets magnified in a ball game. Everything matters, so it's a point of emphasis obviously, offensively."

The Jaguars will look to clean those issues up this week as they host the AFC leading Baltimore Ravens in a Sunday Night Football showdown in Jacksonville.
