Trevor Lawrence back at practice after scary Monday night injury

The Jaguars made a social media post Thursday showing QB Trevor Lawrence throwing some passes on the practice field.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The post on the Jaguars social media Thursday was simply stated - "spotted at practice." Those three words and the video attached to it should have all of Jaguars nation collectively breathing a sign of relief. The video was of Trevor Lawrence throwing passes at Thursday's practice and looking pretty comfortable.

Lawrence suffered a high ankle sprain and was pulled from the game in the team's loss Monday night loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Lawrence walked into the team's news conference Wednesday' without wearing a boot and without the aid of crutches. He said he was "concerned," that the injury he suffered was serious, but said he was feeling much better.

The AFC South first-place Jaguars take on the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. During his news conference Wednesday, Jags Head Coach Doug Pederson said he didn't want to put a timetable on Lawrence's return.
