Jaguars to play on MNF for the first time since 2011

The Jacksonville Jaguars will face the Cincinnati Bengals in their first MNF game since 2011. The Jags are 8-7 all-time in MNF matchups.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars are taking on the Cincinnati Bengals in their first Monday Night Football game in 12 years.

The last time the Jags played on Monday night was in December 2011 when they faced the San Diego Chargers, who are now located in Los Angeles.

Several players on this year's squad have not played in a Monday Night game, including Jacksonville's 2nd all-time sacks leader, Josh Allen.

"When I was in Arizona, and the schedule came out, I saw the Monday night, I screamed. I got to get right," said Allen. "So I already had those emotions, so now it's just how well can I stick to my schedule, recover, and know my matchup and go out there and play."

Jacksonville is 8-7 all-time on Monday Night Football, going 7-4 at home, with their last win coming in October 2011.
