JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Jaguars' two-time pro bowl tight end Evan Engram has been sidelined for the remainder of the 2024 NFL season for a torn labrum.

Engram, who has played in nine of the team's 13 games this season, missed practice Wednesday due to the shoulder injury. Head Coach Doug Pederson then announced Friday Engram would be receiving season-ending surgery.

Engram has 365 receiving yards and one touchdown on 47 receptions during a disappointing 2024 Jaguars season.

Last week, the tight end was fined over $11,000 for retaliating against Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair after his hit on Trevor Lawrence during Week 13's game vs. the Texans.
