JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jaguars running backs coach Jerry Mack is the new head coach at Kennesaw State.

The school made the announcement today that Mack as its second head coach during the fourth quarter of the Houston Texans game on Sunday. 

"I'm excited for Jerry. It's a great opportunity for him to become a head coach in college football at Kennesaw State. I just thank Jerry for what he's done here. He's really changed that running back room and has done some really good things for us. Wish him well. I'm excited. I'm excited for him to be able to watch him continue his career as a head coach now," said Jaguars Head Coach, Doug Pederson.

Mack coached the game and is expected to move.
