Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette returned to the field in the third quarter against the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday after suffering an ankle injury during the first half.
Fournette suffered a right ankle injury with 7:40 left in the second quarter. The rookie running back caught a 10-yard reception, spun and was injured while being tackled to the ground by Steelers cornerback Artie Burns.
Fournette was forced to walk back to the locker room area after suffering the injury. He returned to the game with 9:02 left in the third quarter.
Fournette finished the game with 25 carries for 109 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
The Jaguars won the game, 45-42, and will face the New England Patriots for the AFC Championship next weekend.
