Jaguars' offense get in their own way against the Bears, lose 35-16

A rough day at the office in London.

LONDON, UK — The Jacksonville Jaguars overseas in London against the Chicago Bears for their annual London tour.

Jaguars tight end Evan Engram is back on the field, who, is a sight for sore eyes.

The following players will be inactive for the Jaguars in today's game:

  • 62 OL Javon Foster
  • 70 OL Cole Van Lanen
  • 93 DT Tyler Lacy
  • 99 DT Jeremiah Ledbetter

The Bears received the ball to start the game. Right on time, the Jaguars defense forced the takeaway.

In the Jaguars first drive, the offense did a beautiful job of moving the ball down the field. But, also right on time, the Jaguars couldn't score a touchdown in their first drive. However, Cam Little hit the field-goal from 30-yards out, bailing the Jaguars again. The Jaguars in the lead, 3-0.

The Jaguars were unable to score in their next two drives, but the Bears were able to.  Quarterback, Caleb Williams finds Cole Kmet who trucks through Andre Cisco like nothing for the touchdown. The Bears take the lead, 7-3 with 11-minutes left in the half.

In an attempt to bounce back, the Jaguars do the opposite and fold. Running back, Travis Etienne Jr. can't hold on the ball and allowed it to get punched out of his hand. Again. Luckily for the Jaguars, the play was ruled an incomplete pass.

In the Bears' next drive, Cisco recovered his missed tackle which led to a touchdown earlier in a pick thrown by Williams.

The Jaguars couldn't do anything with that takeaway. Unlike the Jaguars, the Bears are able to move down the field before the half ends and Williams finds Kmet for the touchdown again. With 13-seconds left in the first half, the Bears lead the Jaguars, 14-3.

The Bears are feeling good about themselves as they head to the locker room at the half, in the lead, 14-3.

To start the third quarter, Jaguars' Evan Engram fumbled the ball and put the Bears in great position. If there's any momentum in the game, the Bears had it. The Jaguars continue getting in their own way. Bears' Williams hits Keenan Allen at the endzone. This would put the Bears one more touchdown above the Jaguars, 21-3 with the extra point good.

The Jaguars finally able to get something going late in the third quarter as Trevor Lawrence finds Gabe Davis for the touchdown. This was Davis' first touchdown as a Jaguar. The Jaguars are still down, 21-10 with seven-minutes left in the third quarter.

At the start of the fourth, The Bears from the four-yard-line. Williams hits Keenan Allen again for the touchdown. The Bears out of reach for how the Jaguars have played this game, 28-10.  Williams with four touchdown passes so far.

In the time it took to write two sentences, Trevor Lawrence threw his first pick of the game. The Bears scored from this takeaway. The score is 35-10 with more than 10-minutes left in the game. The Jaguars have a rough drive back to the hotel after this game.

In a desperate attempt, the Jaguars score a touchdown. Lawrence to Davis. It wasn't pretty, but it's still six-points. The big cats went for two and were unsuccessful. The Bears led the Jaguars, 35-16.

With less than three-minutes left in the game, the Jaguars opted for Mac Jones.
