JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — After holding an 8-3 record, the Jaguars have fallen in three straight games to AFC North opponents, making their path to the playoffs more challenging while increasing their sense of urgency.
"The margin of error, how slim it gets this late in the season because everybody is playing for something," said Jaguars safety Rayshawn Jenkins. "Whether it's fighting to get into the playoffs or positioning yourself in different seeds in the playoffs. We got to know that and attack every game like that. So from here on out, it's playoff football."
"The urgency's just got to pick up. We just got to keep holding each other accountable," said Jaguars wide receiver Jamal Agnew. "Trust in each other. Loving on each other through the ups and downs because it's not always going to be good. Everybody's good in this league."
The Jaguars are now tied with the Houston Texans and the Indianapolis Colts for the AFC South Division lead but do hold the tiebreakers and control their own destiny.
With three games remaining in the regular season, Jaguars travel down the road to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, Dec. 24th.
