JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jaguars have made their moves as the new league year started on Wednesday, March 13th at 4 p.m.
Here are the four players the Jacksonville Jaguars have agreed to terms with.
Gabe Davis, Buffalo Bills, WR
There are reports that the Jags and Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabe Davis have agreed to a three-year $39 million contract, which includes an additional $11 million in incentives.
Davis is widely considered the next-best free agent after Calvin Ridley on a market that was watered down in the last few weeks by franchise tags and late extensions. This signing could also mean Ridley's time in Jacksonville is over.
Mitch Morse, Buffalo Bills, C
Former Buffalo Bills center Mitch Morse is heading to Jacksonville.
According to reports, the veteran center, who the Bills cut last week, agreed on a two-year contract with the Jags.
Morse was a team captain who started all 17 games for the Bills last season, but they cut him because they're in rough salary cap shape.
Darnell Savage, Green Packers, S
On the defensive side of the ball, the Jaguars addressed the secondary.
The big cats have agreed to sign former Green Bay safety Darnell Savage to a three-year deal, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Savage, who is 26, just finished his rookie deal with the Packers.
He was the 21st overall pick of the 2019 draft and played last season under the fifth-year option.
Devin Duvernay, Baltimore Ravens, WR
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver and special teams returner Devin Duvernay is expected to sign a two-year, $8.5 million deal with the Jags, according to reports.
Duvernay played four seasons with the Ravens after being drafted by the team in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
During that time, he made a name for himself as a returner, earning two Pro Bowls in 2021, 2022 and first-team All-Pro in 2021. In 2023, Duvernay's role with the Ravens shifted almost entirely to return roles.
Ronald Darby, Baltimore Ravens, CB
Baltimore Ravens free agent cornerback Ronald Darby is expected to sign a two-year deal worth up to $10 million with the Jaguars, according to John Schultz of BleackerReport.com.
In his time with the Ravens, Darby was an effective defender who eventually moved into a starting role.
Darby was one of the few free agents the Ravens had a realistic chance of re-signing.
