Jaguars pick up first home-win of the season over Colts 37-20

The Jaguars pick up their 3rd straight win Sunday at EverBank Stadium. QB Trevor Lawrence now ranking 4th all-time in franchise history passing yards.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — It felt like an afternoon for football in Jacksonville on Sunday. Temperatures were in the 70s and it made a beautiful day for some Jaguars football. Indianapolis would win the toss and receive to start the game.

The Jaguars defense would do what they do and hold the Colts to a 28-yard field goal. Colts up, 3-0.

By the end of the first quarter, the Colts would lead the Jaguars, 3-0. 

In less than a minute into the second quarter, Travis Etienne Jr would truck in the first touchdown of the day. The Jaguars are in the lead, 7-3 with 14:17 left in the first half.

In just :20, the Jaguars pick up their second touchdown. Travis Etienne Jr. would take this one in as well. Jacksonville in the lead, 14-3.

Later in the second, Jaguars quarterback, Trevor Lawrence became the 4th ranked all-time passing yards in franchise history. He's behind David Garrard.

With less than five minutes to go in the first half, Andre Cisco picked off Colts' QB, Gardner Minshew II. 

With 1:40 left in the first half, Jaguars' Christian Kirk would widen the lead with a touchdown. Jaguars with the big lead before the half, 21-3.

End of the first half

After the Jaguars defense force the Colts to another field goal, they have some fun with it.

For the second time, the Jaguars pick up another interception. This time, by Rayshawn Jenkins. The drive would end in a 48-yard field goal from #10, Brandon McManus. Jaguars stay in the lead, 24-6.

The Jaguars move the chains on almost every snap and it's the short pass to Brenton Strange that would make this game even more fun for Jaguars fans. Extra point is good and the Jaguars lead, 31-6.

In the fourth quarter, the Colts pick up their first touchdown of the game. The Jaguars still in the lead, 31-13.

Later on, Jaguars Darious Williams picks off, Minshew II on 4th and goal.

With 7:14 left in the game, the Jaguars allow the Colts to score again. 31-20, with the Jaguars still in the lead.

Brandon McManus attempted the 49-yard field goal for the Jaguars. Jacksonville still in the lead, 34-20.

McManus gets another field goal, bringing the Jags lead to 37-20. 

Jags get possession, run down the clock, with a final score of 37-20 against the Colts.
