Shining bright like a diamond, the Vikings entered the NJCAA Division II Championship as the No. 9 seed, then went on a five-game win streak and won the entire tournament. Their impressive performance and determination throughout the championship showcased their skills and teamwork, making their victory even more remarkable.
This historic win marks the first World Series title for the St. Johns River State College softball team. Their journey to the top was filled with hard work, dedication, and an unbreakable team spirit.
The program said The Lady Vikings finished the season with 55 wins and 79 home runs, which earned the NJCAA title on the first trip to the tournament in school history.
