ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — The undefeated St. Augustine Jackets have prepared for a brand-new opponent on Friday night for the state semi-final round.
The Dunbar Tigers have been on this stage before and so have the Jackets.
Although St. Augustine is the oldest city in the country and their football program has been around a very long time, they have yet to face Dunbar.
This will be a first.
Head Coach Brian Baddock said they've been studying the Tigers only through a screen which comes with a few struggles.
He said, they're doing what they can with what they have.
"The only familiararity we have with them is film. They're extremely fast, they have a lot of gifted athltes. Coaches do a great job of putting them into position," said Baddock.
The Jackets will host the Tigers on Friday, December 1st at 7:30 p.m.
