DELAND, Fla. — In their Final Four matchup against St. Thomas Aquinas, the Ponte Vedra Sharks showcased a commanding performance up in DeLand. Already leading by one goal, the Sharks demonstrated fluid ball movement, with Alex Patuel finding the net first, extending the lead to 2-0.
Still in the first half, the Sharks continued their offensive prowess, as Natalie Brooks added another goal, securing a 3-0 lead. Brooks continued her scoring spree with two additional goals, further solidifying Ponte Vedra's dominance.
With this impressive performance, the Sharks now stand just one win away from claiming the state trophy. Their next challenge awaits as they face East Lake on March 2nd at 10 am.
