JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — In a crucial matchup at home, the University of North Florida (UNF) Ospreys clashed with the Kennesaw State Owls in a must-win contest to keep their ASUN tournament hopes alive.
With only 14 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter and the Ospreys trailing by two, Kaila Rougier showcased her clutch performance, sinking a challenging shot to knot the score. The game was deadlocked, forcing an intense overtime period.
The drama continued in the first overtime, with the Ospreys down by three and only three seconds left on the clock. Enter Lyric Swann, who demonstrated nerves of steel, burying a sensational three-pointer to extend the contest into double overtime.
