JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Fleming Island Golden Eagles outlasted the determined Jackson Tigers in a nail-biting 55-54 victory to claim the 7th Annual Fortegra High School 9:12 Invitational championship.
Sophomore standout Carson Crawford shined for the Eagles, earning tournament MVP honors for his stellar play.
Fleming Island’s road to the title included a commanding 74-47 win over Riverside and a solid 66-53 semifinal triumph against Creekside.
