JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — In an early morning sendoff, the Bishop Kenny Girls Basketball team was bid farewell by their school and community as they set out for the Final Four. Friends and family expressed their support with enthusiastic cheers, posters, hugs, and abundant smiles, all in anticipation of the team's quest for gold.
"We are so proud of these girls. They have been working all year for today," said Beth Reichard, the mother of Lauren Reichard.
