Despite a resilient effort from Fletcher, Oakleaf secured the victory with a final score of 58-56. Oakleaf advances to play Nease on Thursday.
In another district tournament matchup, Fleming Island clashed with Orange Park.
Bryce Robinson showcased his skills, driving and scoring to put Fleming Island up by five. Utilizing a full-court press, the Golden Eagles extended their lead to seven points.
Orange Park responded by attacking the press, and Johnnie Johnson's two-handed slam demonstrated their strategy.
In a thrilling finish, Fleming Island secured the win with a buzzer-beater, concluding the game with a final score of 55-53.
