JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars announced 14 future/reserve contracts Tuesday.
These contracts are given to players who are not on a 53-man roster. Signing a future/reserve contract prevents a player from negotiating and signing with another team.
The signees include kicker Riley Patterson, who scored the game-winning field goal in the Jags' storybook comeback against the Chargers in 2023. He was waived by the Jaguars in May 2023 following the signing of Brandon McManus, and will now return after brief stints with the Lions and Browns.
The list also includes tight end Josh Pederson, son of Head Coach Doug Pederson. Pederson prolifically cut his son from the roster last year; he was then signed to the practice squad. The younger Pederson made his NFL Debut during the Jaguars' ill-fated Monday Night Football game in December.
The complete list is as follows:
- OL Chandler Brewer
- DB Tevaughn Campbell
- OLB D.J. Coleman
