JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- The Jacksonville Jaguars have big plans for a new south end zone tunnel.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- The Jacksonville Jaguars have big plans for a new south end zone tunnel.

The team released renderings of the end zone Friday. The renovations are part of a $90 million investment being by the City of Jacksonville and the Jaguars.

The improvements will include a brand new team entrance, updated premium seating options and set in motion the construction of a future exclusive club level.

“This is step one in the ongoing evolution of the south end zone,” said Jaguars President Mark Lamping. “As we prepare to break ground next month on the amphitheater and flex field, this unique field access will open up the new venues to a commanding view of EverBank Field and provide fans with a one-of-a-kind game day atmosphere. An additional benefit of these improvements is that they increase the flexibility of the stadium and make EverBank Field a better venue for other events.”

The redesign of the south end zone will move approximately 150 season ticket member accounts. Those season ticket holders were notified last week of the changes being made and sales managers are "walking them through the relocation process."

The construction will be not impact the stadium capacity for the annual Florida-Georgia game.
