Jaguars re-sign TE Marcedes Lewis

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- The Jacksonville Jaguars continue to re-sign their own homegrown talent this offseason.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- The Jacksonville Jaguars continue to re-sign their own homegrown talent this offseason.

The team announced that it has re-signed veteran tight end Marcedes Lewis.

The former first round pick in 2006 NFL Draft has appeared 144 games for the Jaguars. He has caught 329 career receptions for 4,015 receiving yards and 27 receiving touchdowns. He ranks in the top four in all three of those categories.

He made the Pro Bowl in 2010 after catching 58 passes for 700 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.
