JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Icemen announced on Tuesday that the team has been sold to SZH Hockey LLC led by a Jacksonville resident.
The LLC is led by resident Andrew Kaufmann and includes Icemen President Bob Ohrablo.
"I want to thank Ron Geary and our partners for sharing my vision for hockey in Jacksonville," Ohrablo said. "From the beginning, our priority was to have a team locally owned. The addition of Andy Kaufmann completes that vision and we are excited at what Andy brings to the Icemen organization and to the region."
Kaufmann is now the CEO and Governor of the Icemen.
"My family and I are excited about working with the Icemen organization," said Kaufmann. "We look forward to growing Icemen Nation to new heights in the years to come. My role will be serving as a steward for what is the community's team."
