JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Everblades scored four goals in the second period to defeat the Icemen 4-0 in the series-deciding Game Seven.
The Icemen led the Kelly Cup Playoffs first-round series 3-1 but were outscored 10-2 over the last three games.
This marks the third consecutive season that the Florida Everblades have ended the Icemen's season in the Kelly Cup Playoffs.
Regardless of the undesirable finish, the Icemen achieved 40-plus wins for the third straight year and set new attendance records again this season.
