JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Bolles boys' lacrosse team is headed to its fifth consecutive regional finals after defeating Episcopal 23-4.
The Eagles started the matchup on top 1-0, but the Bulldogs outscored them 23-3 for the remainder of the game, holding Episcopal scoreless in the entire second half.
Bolles now holds a 13-game winning streak over the Eagles dating back to 2018.
"Totally different team this year. We have a different vibe that we are playing with and a different kind of juice we are trying to bring to each game," said Tom West, Bolles head coach. "We have some guys hurt. We've got guys coming in and out, and we just want to peak at the right time. So, I think tonight was a good challenge. I think Episcopal played us great in the first quarter, and we had to put on our hard hats and battle."
The Bulldogs aim to reach the State Final Four for the fourth consecutive season as they host Oak Hall in the regional championship on Saturday, May 4, at 7 p.m.
