Former Gators wide receiver Riley Cooper cut by Eagles

PHILADELPHIA - Former Florida Gators wide receiver Riley Cooper is out of a job.

PHILADELPHIA - Former Florida Gators wide receiver Riley Cooper is out of a job.

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Monday that they have released the veteran receiver from his contract.

Cooper has spent his entire career in Philadelphia since being selected in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft.

In six seasons with the Eagles, Cooper produced 169 catches for 2,418 receiving yards and 18 receiving touchdowns.
