JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Following the placement of offensive lineman Cam Robinson on the Designated for Return list due to his absence with a left knee injury in the last four games, the 7th-year veteran was back out on the practice field.
Robinson has missed eight games this season: four due to this injury and four games to start the season as he was suspended for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy.
The Jaguars have missed Robinson's presence as they are 2-6 when the vet is out but have a 6-1 record when he plays.
Robinson has observed the Jaguars' four-game losing streak from a different perspective and says the offensive line needs to do a better job communicating.
"Winning cures all. I think if we get back out there and we just, obviously, stay locked in and stay focused, but we just need to start stringing together good things. Good plays. Good drives. Good series," said Robinson. "Just focus on what's in front of us right now. Of course, we want to win the games. Of course, we want to string together wins and kind of roll into the playoffs with momentum, but that's not the most important thing. Right now, the most important thing is the practice we just had."
Robinson will be eligible to return to the lineup as soon as this Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers.
