JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The 72-hour early signing period kicked off on Dec. 20th, and the Georgia Bulldogs have locked in the top rank for the football recruiting cycle of the Class of 2024, according to 247Sports.
Georgia lost the top-ranked quarterback, Dylan Raiola, to Nebraska, but it still didn't affect their class ranking as the Daws signed four 5-star recruits, including the nation's top cornerback, Ellis Robinson IV. Plus, Georgia was able to flip 5-star KJ Bolden from Florida State.
FSU hurt big time from losing Bolden, who would have been their only 5-star signing, dropping their class rank to 10th, according to 247Sports. The Seminoles still boast 16 4-star recruits.
The Florida Gators recruiting class has 22 commits, ranking 15th according to 247Sports, with their top signee being 5-star quarterback DJ Lagway.
Lastly, Miami has had a great recruiting cycle, ranking 4th according to 247Sports. Miami signed 31 recruits, including two 5-star recruits and the top interior defensive lineman, Justin Scott.
