JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville University women's basketball team welcomed the "Herd" of Marshall in a highly anticipated match held tonight. Despite a strong 4-0 record on their home court, JU Head Women's Basketball Coach, Special Jennings, aimed to craft a winning strategy.
In the opening quarter, the Dolphins faced pressure, yet Brey'anna Frazier orchestrated a stunning play, finding Jada Duckett for a seamless basket. Marshall's Jayda Allie swiftly responded with a skillful drive and jumper.
As the quarter progressed, the Dolphins sought momentum. Amidst a nearly tipped play, Duckett secured possession and executed a powerful finish. However, despite their efforts, the Dolphins succumbed to the Herd with a final score of 102-77, marking their first loss at home this season.
