LSU-UF is happening this year - in Baton Rouge, La. It was originally scheduled for Gainesville last weekend, but Hurricane Matthew forced a postponement.

Florida Athletic Director panned the LSU attempt at rescheduling, saying the conference office asked both schools to help plan the game but that LSU officials weren't that helpful.

For a few days, the status of the game was up in the air and it was unclear if it would even be made up.

As a response to Florida losing a home game, the presidents and chancellors of the SEC have "established the expectation for existing conference policy to be revised to better define the process for completely postoned or interrupted contests," according to a release from the conference.

On top of that, the conference commissioner will be given the authority to determine the date and location of future postponed games if the two schools involved can't work together to find a date.

LSU was originally supposed to play South Alabama on Nov. 19 in Baton Rouge, and Florida was supposed to host Presbyterian on the same day in Gainesville, but both schools are canceling those games.

As a result of this rescheduling, UF loses two home games this year.
