HOOVER, Ala. – It was inevitable that Florida coach Jim McElwain would be asked, during his appearance Tuesday at SEC media days, about the photo that went viral during the offseason. If you have not seen it, it’s not difficult to find:
A guy in a boat, lying atop a dead shark.
Oh, and the guy is nude. And he bears a striking resemblance to McElwain.

The coach had already denied the photo was of him, back in May when it first became an Internet sensation. But he was asked again Monday.
“I loved the humor in it,” McElwain said – but then very clearly, he did not.
“What it did,” he continued, “was (it) not only attacked the university, but it attacked my family, when you know it’s not you. I bust chops with the best of them, now. But when it got personal?”

McElwain stood at the podium for several seconds, silent, before the moderator asked: “Next question?”
