JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sharks faced the Tulsa Oilers in the 10th game of the season, still in search of their second win.
In the first quarter, the Sharks trailed by 14 points when Tyler King received the toss and fought off a big hit to score. After a missed PAT, the Sharks trailed 14-6. Edward Waters alum King relished the home crowd's support.
Second quarter, with the Sharks down 21-6, Fred Payton Jr. connected with Jeremiah Payton for another touchdown. Following a failed 2-point conversion, the Sharks trailed 21-12.
For the first time this season, the Sharks made a second-half comeback instead of collapsing, winning the game 45-42. Jacksonville improved to 2-10 on the season. The Sharks will be back at home on June 22.
