DAYTON, Ohio —A toy at a Dayton-area dollar store has some parents upset because they say it is not appropriate for toddlers.

They toy is called "Evil Stick" and parents said it promises fairies and music, but what you actually get is a cackling laugh and flashing lights over a picture of a girl holding a knife to her arm, hidden under a glittery sticker.

The store said it's up to parents to read the label and decide what is appropriate for their kids.
